Princess Anne hosted 'Charities Forum' at Buckingham Palace ahead of her 75th birthday
Princess Anne set a great example by hosting 'Charities Forum' at Buckingham Palace ahead of a special milestone, her 75th birthday.
The Princess Royal, who has been associated with more than 400 charities and patronages to help and support, decided to celebrate the beginning next chapter of her life by inviting officials from organisations serving people.
Through charities forum, the hardest working royal aimed to understand "how she can help" more, especially at a time when the "third sector is facing unprecedented challenges and transformations," shared her Private Secretary Colonel John Boyd.
Notably, Princess Anne gave a meaningful speech, in which she expressed gratitude towards the attendees for making a difference with their work.
At one point, Zara Tindall's mother left people laughing with her light-hearted comment about obtaining permission to host an event at the Palace from her brother, King Charles.
She told guests, "I would just like to make the point that we’re very fortunate that His Majesty has allowed us to use Buckingham Palace for this event….And I need to say that!"
It is pertinent to mention that Princess Anne has always stood behind her brother through thick and thin.
She has stepped up her royal engagements more after the monarch was diagnosed with cancer.
