Meghan Markle faces rejection day before collaboration with Beyonce's mom

Meghan Markle’s podcast is facing a tough crowd just as she prepares to drop a high-profile bonus episode featuring Beyonce’s mom, Tina Knowles.

After wrapping up the eighth episode of Confessions of a Female Founder last week, the Duchess of Sussex is releasing one final bonus episode tomorrow (Tuesday, June 3).

But the public response isn’t exactly encouraging. A new Express poll asked readers whether they wanted a second season of the series, and the results were resounding.

Out of 2,063 participants, a staggering 2,036 voted no. Only 20 said they’d be interested in more episodes, while seven were undecided.

Produced by Lemonada Media, Confessions was Meghan’s second podcast venture after Archetypes in 2022, which was dropped by Spotify after one season.

Over the eight episodes, Meghan, 43, has invited a range of women entrepreneurs to discuss wide-ranging topics. Now, all eyes are on the bonus episode, which Meghan teased last week.

“Next week, we have got one more very special interview for you. A bonus episode. Because when a matriarch calls, and when this matriarch calls, oh you answer,” she said in the promotional video.
