Prince William set to visit Monaco for major ocean summit
Prince William to address global leaders at Monaco's Blue Economy Forum
Prince William will travel to Monaco next week for an official visit without his beloved wife, Princess Kate.
The Prince of Wales is scheduled to attend the Blue Economy and Finance Forum at the Grimaldi Forum-an environmental summit focused on ocean preservation.
Prince Albert II of Monaco will also be present at the summit, though his wife, Princess Charlene, is not expected to accompany him.
The Forum is organised by the Government of Monaco, and the Oceanographic Institute of Monaco, with support from France and Costa Rica.
This significant event, taking place from June 7 to 8, will bring business leaders and government representatives to accelerate the transition toward a sustainable and regenerative Blue Economy.
Serving as a Special Event of the UN Ocean Conference, the Forum takes place just days before the 2025 UN Ocean Conference in Nice, France, scheduled from June 9 to 13.
Prince William is set to deliver a speech during the Heads of State and Government session on the final day of the Forum.
His speech will be followed by closing remarks from President Chaves Robles of Costa Rica, President Macron of France and Prince Albert II of Monaco.
