Queen Mary is echoing Princess Kate's focus on nature through her latest royal engagement.
The 53-year-old Danish royal immersed herself in the natural beauty of her homeland as she contributed to efforts aimed at restoring habitats for endangered species.
The Queen visited a World Wildlife Foundation (WWF) project in the forests near Knudshoved Odde, where she actively participated in nature conservative activities.
In a social media post, the Danish royal palace shared: 'Today, Her Majesty The Queen participated in a visit as patron of the foundation and was presented with some of the concrete efforts in the nature restoration project.'
Her dedication to environmental causes closely mirrors the sentiments recently expressed by Princess Kate, who has been championing the connection between humanity and nature.
