King Charles and Queen Camilla made a joint sombre appearance to pay respect to those who lost their precious lives for a meaningful cause.
On May 27, the royal family released a series of photos from the royal couple's National War Memorial during their two-day Canada trip.
Buckingham Palace's spokesperson shared an update on social media from the monarch and his wife's key royal engagement.
The statement reads, "We remember all those who lost their lives in service to their country."
"The King and Queen pay their respects at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at the National War Memorial in Ottawa."
Notably, the King's office issued an update on the royals' outing in Ottawa after his emotional statement for the victims of the Liverpool incident.
The monarch expressed his deep sadness over the devastating loss of precious lives on Monday.
King Charles sent love and prayers for the affected individuals, the community and emergency responders.
