Selma Blair opened up about her thoughts on the upcoming Legally Blonde prequel series, Elle.
Blair, who starred as Vivian Kensington opposite to Reese Witherspoon's Elle Woods shared her excitement for new instalment at the PHM Healthfront 2025 event.
In conversation with the People Magazine at the event, the Hellboy star said, "I can’t believe so much times has gone by that we’re now going like, 'oh 25 years ago' it was Legally Blonde, Cruel Intentions, all those."
Blair reflected on the rom-com films with a nostalgic feeling, calling them "a gift in my life" that "hold such happy memories and brought lot of joy to all of us".
"And I’ll be watching. I love it all," she added referring to the new series starring Lexi Minetree as a young Elle Woods.
In the previous films, Woods was a sorority girl who tries to win back her ex-boyfriend by following him to Harvard Law School.
In addition to Blair and Witherspoon, Jennifer Coolidge, Luke Wilson, Ali Larter, Matthew Davis were also cast in the film, which was directed by Robert Luketic.
A third Legally Blonde film is also currently in the pre-production stage, with Mindy Kaling set to write the script.
