Future King sends strong message amid tension
Crown Prince's new shocking pictures released amid tension
The royal palace has shared shocking new photos of the crown Prince amid ongoing tension.
Prince Christian, the eldest son of Danish Queen Mary and King Frederik, seemingly follows in Prince William's footsteps as he has undertaken combat training amid rising geopolitical tensions in the country.
In new meaningful photos, the royal is seen continuing his military training in combat amid ongoing crisis in Denmark.
The 19-year-old may be living at an isolated Guard Hussar Regiment base in the remote town of Slagelse while undergoing mandatory military service as Denmark’s constitution stipulates every male over the age of 18 completes the service, which usually spans between four months and a year.
On Monday, the Danish palace unvieled new photos of the future King taking part in a series of intense training exercises, including surviving on meagre rations and limited sleep.
The Palace also issued a statement with photos: "His Royal Highness the Crown Prince is now a Guards Hussar and will continue his Lieutenant's training starting in August."
The statement continued: "In this connection, here is a series of pictures from the traditional and demanding REX tour that the Crown Prince completed with his fellow conscripts last week.
"The exercise lasted four days and consisted of two phases: first readiness and guarding, then task solving under difficult conditions.
"The conscripts covered about 50 kilometers with full equipment, while the Crown Prince marched about 65 kilometers as second-in-command of his platoon."
“The exercise was carried out with one field ration and very limited sleep. At the end, the Crown Prince received the REX badge," the palace wrote.
"The lieutenant's training lasts one year and ends with a period of practical service as a platoon leader."
The latest update on the young royal emerges months after the King, Queen and their children were seen reuniting with Christian at the remote military base for the first time since he left his gilded life at the palace.
Meanwhile, British royals have also undertaken several military trainings to express their intention to protect the country. Most recently future monarch William has undertaken the training.
