King Charles and his beloved daughter-in-law Kate Middleton joined forces to raise 'proceeds' for meaningful causes after they received special honours.
According to Garden Forum, a special rose in the monarch's name has been unveiled by the World-leading rose breeder, David Austin Roses.
"The King's Rose" was created to honour the leader of the royal family which will launch at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2025.
It is important to mention that Buckingham Palace announced on May 18 that Queen Camilla will "visit @The_RHS and @BBCRadio2 Dog Garden at Chelsea Flower Show," today.
Notably, the proceeds from The King’s Rose will be used for The King’s Foundation and its incredible work which helps "build sustainable communities."
The Chairman of David Austin Roses, David J.C. Austin highlighted the importance of the Chelsea Flower Show, calling it an "incredibly special place," for him and his family.
While sharing details related to The King's Rose, he said, "The rose is a tribute to the enduring values of King Charles through the work of [his] foundation, investing in education, sustainable practices, and the revitalisation of heritage."
A few days ago, a similar honour was given to the future Queen, Catherine by the Royal Horticultural Society.
A new Rose, named, "Catherine’s Rose," was announced as a tribute to the Princess of Wales, who is in remission from cancer.
According to Kate Middleton's spokesperson, the "proceeds from this rose will support The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity, helping patients across the country live well with, and beyond, cancer."
There is no hidden fact that the cancer diagnosis brought King Charles and Princess Kate closer as now the royals are trying to raise awareness about the deadly disease with their work.
