2025 has been a roller coaster year for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle- court battles, bombshell interviews, charity controversies and the launch of new lifestyle brands.
yet none of it has shaken their relationship, and the couple is now looking forward to celebrating their 7th wedding anniversary.
Earlier this month, Harry sat down for a high-profile interview with BBC, in which he made remarks about King Charles that did not sit well with royal fans.
He claimed that the King won't not speak to him, and admitted, ' I do not know how much longer my father has,' while calling for a reconciliation with his family.
These comments came just after he lost the court battle over his security arrangements in the UK.
Shortly afterward, Meghan posted a photo of Harry and children enjoying in the garden of their California home.
Former royal correspondent Jenni Bond told The Mirror that she found the image very telling: 'I think the recent post of Harry suggests he is walking away from his old life, and that anniversary wishes will come from the U.K to California,' Bond said.
It is important to note that Harry and Meghan are now on very different career paths.
Meghan released her Netflix lifestyle and cookery show, With Love, Meghan, on in March.
She also launched her lifestyle brand, As Ever and a podcast series, titled Confessions of a Female Founder.
Meanwhile, Harry has shifted his focus to charitable work and the Invictus Games. 'This all makes the couple appear strong, rather isolated,' Bond adds.
