Prince William assigned crucial role as key date looms in King Charles reign

Prince William is set to take on a leading role during upcoming historic meeting in his father King Charles' reign. 

For the unversed, US President Donald Trump is expected to visit the United Kingdom for a state visit in September and he is fascinated by royal pageantry. 

As per the Mirror, the Prince of Wales assigned to secure Brexit trade deal during the piognant visit of influential political figure in his homeland. 

Notably, Sir Keir Starmer, the Prime Minister of the UK, personally extended the monarch's invitation to Trump during a meeting at the White House in February. 

Sources claimed that Keir intentionally mentioned William's involvement in the key tour, leaving Trump delighted. 

"As soon as the Prince of Wales was mentioned, Trump lit up. He’s always been captivated by the pomp and circumstance of the monarchy, and he sees William as a commanding figure," an insider shared. 

The source said, "Trump will love it being laid on for him, and it will play heavily into his ego. Although a trade deal could be done between the UK and US in weeks, make no mistake, the royal carrot is being dangled."
