Colin Farrell's father Eamon died of long illness at the age of 83.
The former Irish footballer is survived by his wife Eileen and his four children: Eamon, Catherine, Claudine and Colin.
The ex Shamrock Rovers footballer reportedly breathed his last in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin Wednesday, April 9.
Daily Mail shared that the death notice about his passing mentioned him as the 'beloved husband' of Eileen, 'loving father' of adult children and 'beloved brother' of the late Tommy, Maureen and Sean.
It revealed that Eamon passed away following a 'long illness bravely borne' in the care of his family as the staff of the Whitworth Ward in Beaumont Hospital in Dublin.
The notice also mentioned that the former proprietor of Health Matters will be sadly missed by his large brood including Rita, his eight step-children, five grandchildren, extended family, neighbours and friends.
The funeral of The Batman actor's father will be held on April 12.
