Royal Family shares delightful video of Queen Camilla amid Harry's court battle
Buckingham palace releases video as King Charles, Queen Camilla achieve milestone
King Charles III's wife Queen Camilla won hearts during her visit to Rome's Alessandro Manzoni school on Wednesday.
The 76-year-old, who was accompanied by Education Minister Giuseppe Valditara, was greeted by small children waving union flags.
The Royal Family's official Instagram account posted a stunning video of Queen Camilla's visit with a statement amid Prince Harry's court battle in the UK over his security protection.
The Palace wrote alongside the video: "A delightful morning filled with storytelling!"
The statement continued: "During a visit to the Istituto Comprensivo Alessandro Manzoni, The Queen met schoolchildren learning about Paddington Bear and presented certificates to those who participated in a special writing competition marking the British Council’s 80th anniversary.
"Thank you for all the anniversary cards — and the surprise pizza delivery!"
Camilla looked gorgeous in a white-and-black-polka-dot dress as she met pupils, teachers and Brian Young, the director of the Italian branch of the British Council, which is celebrating its 80th anniversary, and attend an English lesson with the children.
The Queen awarded diplomas to the winners of a competition and gave a selection of books to the headmistress of the school, where former Roma captain Francesco Totti and Mayor Roberto Gualtieri once studied.
In honor of their 20th wedding anniversary on April 9, the Queen was given a Margherita pizza.
Earlier, Buckingham Palace paid a musical tribute to mark the royal couple's wedding anniversary. In the video, the guards are seen playing a brass version of Madness's 1981 hit It Must Be Love.
