Spider-Man co-star lets slip about Tom Holland, Zendaya's 'secret' engagement
Spider-Man co-star opens up about Tom Holland and Zendaya's 'secret' engagement
Tom Holland and Zendaya's Spider-Man co-star has accidentally let slip about their secret engagement.
During an exclusive interview with Metro, Marvel’s Jacob Batalon, who recently got engaged to Veronica Leahov, opened up about Tom and Zendaya’s engagement.
While promoting his new film Novocaine, the actor revealed more details about the couple's decision to take their relationship to the next level.
He said, “No, we definitely did not know about each other’s plans like that. But I will say, I thought about it first, so…”
This comes after Balton confirmed his engagement on Instagram on March 5. Sharing a carousel of photos from the big day, he wrote in the caption, “The beginning of the rest of our lives together.”
Meanwhile, his fiancée wrote at the time, “A lifetime of us!!!! I never imagined my heart could hold so much love and feel such depth of emotion.
“This is the purest happiness I’ve ever known, and I can’t wait to spend forever with the love of my life!!”
Holland and Zendaya, first romantically linked after a November 2021 public kiss, fueled engagement speculation at the 2024 Golden Globes when Zendaya debuted a dazzling diamond ring.
