Gracie Abrams pays tribute to late fan at ‘The Secret of Us’ tour
Gracie Abrams, who is currently in the midst of her The Secret of Us tour, gave a heartfelt tribute to her late fan, Lolly.
The 25-year-old songstress stopped midway in her show, as she spotted a fan holding a sign in honour of their late friend Lolly, on Monday, March 10th in Dublin.
The That’s So True hitmaker placed her hands on her heart as she saw the sign, “That’s my best friend. She had tickets tonight,” explained the fan.
Abrams replied, “She’s so beautiful. She’s the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen. Thank you so much for bringing her with you tonight. I’m so sorry for your loss. This is so gorgeous.”
“I’m so, so, so, so, so sorry,” she continued, to which the fan responded, “It’s okay.”
The Grammy-nominated singer then said, “No, it’s not. It’s not okay. This is so beautiful that she’s with you here tonight. Thank you so much for coming.”
Abrams placed the photo of Lolly at the front of the stage, as she said, “I love you guys so much. Thank you for being here. I just can’t imagine how you must be feeling right now. I’m here for you, and I love you so much.”
"She’s gorgeous, and she’s with us," she added.
The fan took to TikTok and shared the video of the emotional moment, and wrote, “Gracie [honoring] our best friend at her dream concert. We miss you Lolly," over the clip.
