Billy Joel leaves fans concerned after sorrowful announcement
Billy Joel, the legendary music star, worried fans at a recent show when he lost his balance and fell on stage.
Following the accident, the 75-year-old musician made an announcement via Instagram on Tuesday, March 11th.
The Uptown Girl hitmaker shared that he will be postponing his concerts from March to July to take time and “recover from recent surgery” and “undergo physical therapy under the supervision of his doctors.”
Joel added, “While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first. I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding.”
The statement added that Joel is “is expected to make a full recovery,” during his break away from the stage.
The Piano Man singer’s concert in Toronto, Ontario concert which was about to take place on March 15th, will now be rescheduled after July 5th.
“While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first. I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding,” Joel concluded.
The rescheduled concerts will reportedly go on till 2026.
