Madonna is extending her greetings to Sabrina Carpenter after she used the Queen Of Pop’s conventional photographer Steven Meisel for the shoot.
The Espresso hitmaker, who garnered praise from fans for her appearance on the front of Vogue’s March 2025 cover, slipped into Dolce & Gabbana’s light blue satin cone bra corset mini dress as she imitated Madonna’s similar shoot from 1991.
However, the 66-year-old couldn’t help but rave about Carpenter’s version, clocking the reference on her fellow-singer’s Instagram post.
She wrote in the comments section, “Is this a Valentine’s present to me?”
Several other social media users, let alone fan pages, took to different platforms to draw similarities between the two popular looks from years apart.
One fan enthused, “WAKE UP — Sabrina Carpenter in a custom Dolce & Gabbana dress, shot by Steven Meisel, makeup by Pat McGrath on the cover of Vogue.
“Real-life Madonna!”
Another chimed in, adding, “Sabrina Carpenter by Steven Meisel, 2025
“Madonna by Steven Meisel, 1991”
Meanwhile, a third commented, “So I wasn’t the only one who saw the similarities?”
Although Sabrina has yet to respond to Madonna's comment under her post, fans predict that their soon-to-be collaboration is near, as they have started adopting each other's inspirations.
