Prince William and his wife Princess Kate have finally got the spotlight amid Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's show in Vancouver.
The Prince and Princess of Wales have received a new surprising honour from a survivour for the couple's heartwarming gesture as The Duke and Duchess of Sussex continue to shine at the Invictus Games.
Kate and William's new heartwarming pictures have been released. In the tellig photos the royal couple can be seen embracing Leanne Lucas, the yoga teacher who was injured protecting children during last year's Southport attack.
Thepictures, released by Lucas in a "2024 memories" Facebook reel, offer a rare glimpse of her private meeting with the couple last October, showing Kate and William hugging the 36-year-old teacher and posing for pictures.
The vicious attack claimed the lives of three young girls: Alice da Silva Aguiar, nine, Bebe King, six, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven
Axel Rudakubana entered the building and began attacking children and adults when Lucas was running a Swift-themed dance class on July 29, 2024.
Several other children were injured in the attack, along with businessman John Hayes who attempted to intervene.
The royal couple's engagement marked Kate's first official "daytime engagement" following the completion of preventative chemotherapy.
