Serena Williams husband finally breaks silence on surprise Super Bowl Halftime cameo
Serena Williams husband reacts to his wife’s unexpected Super Bowl Halftime cameo
Serena Williams 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show cameo performance set the internet ablaze.
The former professional tennis player’s performance lapped up attention due to the fact that she danced on a Kendrick Lamar’s track Not Like Us, aimed at her ex Drake, and for her Crip Walk.
While some were quick to respond to the 43-year-old stunt, including ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith who reportedly would have divorced Williams for supposedly not getting over her ex, eyes were set on her husband Alexis Ohanian who had kept mum until now.
Ohanian took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to write just four words that sent fans into frenzy.
“Pretty fantastic halftime show,” wrote the co-founder of Reddit praising his wife of around eight years.
The appearance of the Grand Slam Champion came as a surprise when one of the greatest tennis players of all time took the stage in a blue tennis skirt to flex her dancing moves.
Following Williams' brief stunt, she took to X and wrote “Let's go Super Bowl halftime. I died a little!”
For the unversed, Williams won hearts with her staunch support to Taylor Swift as the latter was booed during the Super Bowl LIX when the Cruel Summer crooner appeared on jumbotron at the Caesars Superdome, New Orleans leaving her “surprised and mildly amused”.
The female sports player quickly took to social media and wrote, “I love you @taylorswift13. Don’t listen to those booos!!”
