Lily Allen has recently decided to get back to her work after taking a break for “rehab” following her split from husband David Harbour.

On February 9, Lily posted a photo of herself and best friend Miquita Oliver on her Instagram Stories alongside audio of Miquita from their BBC Sounds podcast Miss Me?

In the short clip, Miquita opened up that Lily would return to the podcast next week after the singer announced that she was briefly stepping back last month.

“So, next week’s Miss Me? is a very special episode. We are going to actually turn into a pirate radio station for one night only on the BBC to welcome home the return of Miss Lily Allen,” said Miquita.

She mentioned, “That’s right, she coming home! She’s coming home. And we will be discussing for Lily Allen’s return the theme for next week.”

On January 13, Lily opened up that she was taking a break from the podcast, signing out an episode by saying, “I'll see you on the other side. Hopefully I'll be in a better place.”

However, an insider spilled to the Mail that she left work to spend several weeks at a clinic due to her breakup from David.

“It was very painful for Lily to return home. David used to be her saviour and now he’s a trigger for her,” explained an insider.

The source told the outlet that Lily “settled her kids back into the family home and took them to school for their new term, then flew herself straight to rehab”.

“She went a day earlier than intended as she felt wobbly and desperate to escape,” remarked an insider.

The source added that Lily “planned to spend more than a month at the £8,000 a week clinic”.

“She will spend several weeks at the residential retreat in the US where she is expected to take part in intensive group counselling sessions and one-on-one therapy in which she will be urged to ‘unpack’ her emotions,” added an insider.
