'Joker: Folie à Deux' stars Lady Gaga along with Joaquin Phoenix
Musician Lady Gaga, who turned into an actor, has finally spoken up about dealing with Joker 2 failure.
Gaga has gained a lot of recognition in the world of music after winning a Grammy Award, BAFTA, Golden Globe and an Academy Award all together in 2019, becoming the first ever woman to achieve the milestone.
However, her chance at acting did not really pay off well as her latest release film Joker: Folie à Deux failed miserably at the box office.
In a recent interview, the 38-year-old singer opened about dealing with disappointments and moving on.
To respond, she reflected on the Tod Phillips directorial and stated: "People just sometimes don't like some things.”
According to the Disease singer, being an artist mean you have to be willing to accept every kind of review by the audience may it be good or bad. You just have to keep going.
She added: "It’s that simple. And I think to be an artist, you have to be willing for people to sometimes not like it.
"And you keep going even if something didn’t connect in the way that you intended”, Gag told Elle.
The 2024 musical thriller featured the American singer and songwriter in the role of Harley 'Lee' Quinzel alongside Joaquin Phoenix.
