Jennifer Lopez's 'shocking' keepsake from Ben Affleck after 'public humiliation'
The ONE thing Jennifer Lopez refused to give up from Ben Affleck relationship
Jennifer Lopez may have moved on from Ben Affleck, but she's not ready to let go of the stunning diamond ring just yet.
The Boy Next Door star tied the knot with her teenage sweetheart in July 2022, which unfortunately ended in separation just two years later in April 2024.
While JLo is adamant to move forward from her relationship with Affleck, she would still make proper use of her $5 million diamond engagement ring as part of the former couple’s divorce settlement.
According to court documents, Jennifer will keep her engagement ring after divorce. In 2021, the Good Will Hunting star used the same 8.5-carat, radiant-cut green diamond ring to propose to his then-fiancée.
Fans couldn’t wrap their heads around the concept of the actress keeping the ring after divorce given that it is flanked by two accent diamonds alongside a platinum band engraved with the phrase “not.going.anywhere.”
One fan commented, “I feel bad jlo you won't heal every time you look at that Rock Ben gave you just my opinion.”
Another chimed in, adding, “Well they got married so the engagement ring is hers. She was also publicly humiliated so whats $5 mill between friends lol.”
A third exclaimed, “She has a vast collection!”
For the unversed, Lopez cited irreconcilable differences as the main reason for her split from Ben Affleck.
