Sarah Ferguson rang in the New Year with snowy charm, sharing a lighthearted video from the frosty beauty of Altaussee, Austria.

The Duchess of York shared a cheerful selfie-style video on her social media, greeting followers from the picturesque European getaway. 

Her snowy escape follows a low-key Christmas spent with her ex-husband at their shared Windsor residence.

Notably absent from the royal family’s traditional Sandringham celebrations, Fergie and Andrew stayed under the radar amid the Duke of York's recent entanglement in a high-profile "spy" scandal.

"Hello from Austria! A very, very happy New Year to you all, and thank you—huge gratitude, huge love," the Duchess of York warmly greeted her followers in the clip. 

Wrapped up against the chill, she added, "You can see it’s minus seven out here," before blowing three frosty puffs into the camera.

In her signature upbeat style, Fergie encouraged fans to "make joy bubbles, embrace the love, and always turn to joy," a sentiment interrupted by the unexpected bang of a firework, which left her momentarily startled but laughing.

The post, captioned with "Wishing you all a very Happy New Year!" followed a quieter-than-usual Christmas at Royal Lodge, where Sarah spent the day with her ex-husband, Prince Andrew.
