Ben Affleck, Jennifer Lopez’s post-divorce plans laid bare
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez to maintain a rare bond after divorce
Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez tend to stay in touch following their bittersweet divorce.
Shedding light on the estranged couple’s post-divorce plans, a source told Page Six that Affleck and J.Lo will remain inseparable.
"They have every intention of continuing to be in each other’s lives despite not being romantically involved," the insider claimed four months after the On The Floor hitmaker filed for divorce from the Batman star.
"Ben and Jennifer are still connected and the do communicate when it involves their kids," they added.
For Affleck, 52, and Lopez, 55, who tied the knot in 2021, their kids remained a top priority.
The Oscar winner was previously married to Jennifer Garner from 2005 until 2015. They co-parent their three children together: Violet, 18, Seraphina, 15, and Samuel, 12.
Meanwhile, the Let’s Get Loud songstress welcomed 16-year-old twins, Emme and Max, with her ex-husband Marc Anthony.
Despite Affleck and Lopez’s latest split, it has been reported that the two "have a mutual respect for one another," which is "not something that goes away" overnight.
"Obviously things haven’t been the same, but they have a lot of history," the source shared with the news outlet.
Notably, Affleck and the Hustlers actress have already set a precedent for maintaining composure in public amid their divorce.
Last week, Affleck, Lopez, and Garner, 52, made a joint appearance at their kids' school play, showcasing their commitment to co-parenting the blended family.
