Spotify Wrapped to be released THIS day
Fans speculate that the music roundup of the year will be out at this date
Music lovers have been impatiently waiting for their yearly music wrap-up on Spotify.
The music streaming platform is allegedly running late this year as it has been releasing the feature in late November or the first of December for a couple of years.
Fan on social media expressed their frustration on social media about the delay, with one writing, “I miss the time when companies would actually drop things instead of teasing them,” in response to Spotify teasing Wrapped’s announcement.
Another noted, “this is literally the latest it’s ever been.”
However, a reddit user is very confident that they have decoded the date when the streaming platform is going to release its yearly feature.
They told music enthusiasts to mark their calendars for December 4th, (10 AM EST) to discover the annual round up of their music taste.
The thread also noted that Wrapped has been released on a Wednesday for the past three years, further solidifying the theory.
This comes after the company teased the announcement to be very soon, asking users to update their apps for an optimal experience, as per a press release on November 7th.
“If your phone isn’t set to automatically update the app and you haven’t manually updated it in a while, you may be missing out on some pretty great features. An up-to-date app means you’re getting a fully optimized Wrapped experience. When the time comes for the big reveal of your personalized 2024 listening trends, you want to be ready."
