Kieran Culkin explains why ‘Home Alone’ is off limits at home
Kieran Culkin has forbidden his children from watching 'Home Alone'
Kieran Culkin has banned the screening of the iconic Christmas movie in his house.
On December 2nd, he spoke to E! News at The Gothams 34th Annual Film Awards in New York and opened about the reason he has forbidden watching Home Alone at home.
"There’s still some scary parts," he said.
"For the three-year-old, there’s the tarantula and there’s the guy at the end who said, 'I’m gonna bite off all your fingers.' That’s scary for a three-year-old."
Kieran, who was only seven years old, acted alongside his brother Macaulay Culkin, the star of Home Alone and its sequel Home Alone 2, in a small supporting role as Kevin’s bed-wetting cousin.
The star has been married to Jazz Charton since 2013, and they are proud parents of two children, five-year-old daughter Kinsey and a three-year-old son Wilder.
Even though the fan favourite movie has been loved by children worldwide, the Golden Globe award winner has restricted his own children from watching it.
However, the Succession actor hinted that there might be a chance he’ll lift the ban this year.
"We think they might be ready for Home Alone this year," he expressed.
"If not, next year."
