Brad Pitt, George Clooney's 'Wolfs' sequel is out of question
'Wolfs' director Jon Watts makes major decision about new entry
Geroge Clooney and Brad Pitt starrer Wolfs won’t be getting any sequel even after confirmation by streaming platform, Apple TV+
However, Apple teased about another installment, but director Jon Watt has dashed down the idea and discontinued the film.
In conversation with Steve Weintraub from Collider, Watts was asked to share about his future projects.
During the chat, the Spider-Man: Homecoming creator stated: "I don't know what I'm directing next, and I don't think there's going to be a Wolfs sequel."
However, the 2024 action-thriller received mixed reviews, most of them were good. The film took fans back to the time of Ocean’s Eleven due to the chemistry shared on-screen by Clooney and Pitt.
The ending clearly suggested that it could open for a continuation which has now become out of question.
The head of Apple Original Films Matt Dentler, in a statement, also admitted that when Jon came to him to pitch idea of the action flick, it was an easy call for him after knowing that George and Brad were in it.
Wolfs featured the two versatile actors pulling out some intriguing action stunts. The plot of the film revolves around two professional fixers forced to work together to cover-up a high-profile crime.
