Drake stuns onlookers with new look after social media trolling

Drake surprised his fans with new haircut after letting them grow out for a long time and facing backlash for it.

The 38-year-old rapper took to Instagram on Saturday, November 17th, and showed off his new haircut after a big chop with a story post.

The One Dance hitmaker had been growing out his luscious locks for a long while and styled them in pigtails lately.

Drake’s new haircut caught much attention as fans flocked to social media, with one writing on X, “Drake cut his hair off?! Omg we are SO BACK! Them braids been too tight for too damn long!”

Another wrote, “I’m glad he cut his hair. Now I don’t have to curse my timeline with the possibility of pig tailed drake anymore.”

The new haircut debut comes after the God’s Plan singer shared a selfie in October, which featured his sleek pigtails tied at the end with blue bubble barrettes.

Social media users went wild trolling the singer for the hairstyle at the time.

“Drake going thru [sic] his mid life crisis..what the hell possessed him to go put his hair in pigtails and pose with duck lips lol..just give us the slaps my boy,” one user wrote on X.

Another chimed in, “Drake with those f–king pigtails, EIGHT DAYS away from being THIRTY EIGHT years old is pissing me off so bad.”

Drake had not had short hair since early 2022.
