David Schwimmer aka Ross Geller to star in season 2 of "Goosebumps"
David Schwimmer to play botany professor, Anthony Brewer in the horror TV series
David Schwimmer, the Ross Geller of popular sitcom Friends will appear in the upcoming season of popular TV show, Goosebumps.
Disney and Hulu shared the first teaser for Season 2 disclosing the title, Goosebumps: The Vanishing.
The 15-second snippet showcases Schwimmer in a voice over as his face appears onscreen, “They seem to join with a host”, he says, meanwhile, a black liquid then splashes from his face. The teaser ends with a female voice saying: “It’s for the greater good.”
The 57-year-old actor will be portraying the role of a former Botany professor spellbound by science and mystery, and goes by the name, Anthony Brewer.
According to the original author R.L. Stine, further details regarding Goosebumps: The Vanishing will be divulged on 10th January, 2025.
Besides David, the upcoming horror drama will also feature Ana Ortiz, Jaden Bartels, Sam MacCarthy, Stony Blyden, Galilea La Salvia, Francesca Noel in pivotal roles.
Goosebumps season 2 is said to have drawn essentials from some of the most famous books like The Ghost Next Door, The Haunted Car, Monster Blood and many more.
The American supernatural horror television series, Goosebumps was created by Rob Letterman and Nicholas Stoller on October 13, 2023 for Hulu and Disney+. It is based on the R. L. Stine novel series.
