50 Cent has recently shared why he stays away from marriage and wants to lead a celibate lifestyle.
During an appearance on the latest episode of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the rap mogul responded to a question about why he’s never been married.
“Listen, when you calm down you can focus. I've been good to me,” said the 49-year-old.
Stephen asked what is then all about money accumulation without someone special.
“[Money is] when things start getting complicated, things start getting confusing,” noted 50 Cent.
The rapper further said, “If you go on a date but you have no interest in anything, I can see you now. I said, ‘God damn, girl, you fine, but you ain’t got nothing going on.”
The Grammy winner added, “I am safe. I’m not a happy hostage. I’m here. I’m free.”
He jokingly said, “I made some mistakes, just not that one.”
Elaborating on how he spends his days without a romantic partner, 50 Cent remarked he “can get to about 105 pounds on dumbbells”.
The host then addressed rapper’s daily life activities, saying, “just going home, watching Wheel of Fortune on TiVo, having a warm milk and going to bed, putting on your night shirt and cap.”
To which, 50 Cent responded, “You make it sound like the worst thing ever.”
