Disney+ tapped ‘Queen Of Tears’ star Kim Soohyun for ‘Knock-Off’

The Queen of Tears star Kim Soohyun has booked for a new drama to knock off the audience again with his acting chops.
According to Deadline, the South Korean actor is slated to lead the upcoming Disney+ drama Knock Off.
Soohyun, 36, will share the screen with Cho Boah, known for her performances in Tale of the Nine Tailed and Military Prosecutor Doberman.
The drama, which is scheduled to release in 2025, will reunite Song of the Bandits writer and director Han Junghoon and Park Hyeonseok, respectively.
Knock Off will mark the latest Korean project from the Mouse House, which released more than 10 titles in 2024.
Some of the network's hit Korean dramas include Moving, Big Bet, and The Worst of Evil.
As for the character details for the leading roles, they have been kept under wraps.
On the work front, Soohyun boasts a stellar line-up of widely loved dramas, including My Love from The Star and It’s Okay to Not Be Okay.
Additionally, the actor has recently wrapped up Queen of Tears, which aired in March 2024.
Two days after its release, the record-breaking drama claimed seventh rank in Netflix's Global Top 10 TV (Non-English) category and became the highest-rated TvN series, surpassing Crash Landing on You.
Queen of Tears broadcast run from March 9 to April 28 amassed 373.2 million hours.
