Ben Affleck skips Jennifer Lopez’s 55th birthday bash: Report

Ben Affleck continues to keep his distance from his wife Jennifer Lopez even as she celebrates her milestone birthday.

As the Jenny from the Block hitmaker approaches her 55th birthday on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, she started the celebrations early with an all-out Bridgerton-themed birthday party over the weekend.

However, People Magazine confirmed that Affleck, 51, was not in attendance at the soiree, which Lopez hosted in the Hamptons.

Instead, the Oscar-winning actor was spotted in Los Angeles a day prior, still sporting his wedding band amid rumours of a quiet split after just two years of marriage.

This wasn’t the only milestone occasion Ben and Jen spent on opposite coasts; they were not together for their second wedding anniversary last week on July 16. Notably, the couple has not been seen together publicly for a month.

Interestingly, Affleck’s 18-year-old daughter, Violet — whom he shares with ex Jennifer Garner — has been spending time with Lopez in the Hamptons. Last week, the duo was seen enjoying a bike ride together and taking a stroll arm-in-arm in Southampton, New York.

According to recent reports, Affleck and Lopez have actually secretly split without any intentions to publicly announce it.

A source told Fox News Digital that “they’re not trying to work it out,” but “Violet and all the kids have remained close to JLo which is [why] Violet is in the Hamptons with JLo.”
