Prince Harry and Prince William may be estranged, but they are united in their love for their love for late mother Princess Diana.
The two siblings are set to honour their mother with “two different documentaries” as a tribute to Diana’s legacy, noted royal commentator Gareth Russell.
The Prince of Wales will be releasing a two-part series, titled Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, which will share behind the scenes of the first year of his Homewards programme launched in 2023.
Meanwhile Prince Harry is taking a fight with British press as he focuses to expose their illegal activities.
“It's interesting that both princes are focusing on aspects that many people would have associated with their mother,” Russell told GB News adding that those aspects became issues Diana’s sons cared about cared about.
“There is a difference, however,” Russell explained. “The Prince of Wales is focusing on issues that are more external and about other people, things like the environment and obviously homelessness. Homelessness is very much something that Princess Diana cared about.”
As for the Duke of Sussex, he added, “Prince Harry is focusing on the legacy of press intrusion and how it has impacted him personally. Obviously, it did have a very negative impact on his mother's life, and to a degree, I would argue, also on his father's.”
He continued, “Prince William's is much more about broad causes, while Prince Harry is continuing with a much more personally focused moral crusade, as he would see it."
