Katie Price reveals life's lowest point: 'Didn't want to be here anymore'
Katie Price admits she attempted suicide after ‘long breakdown’
Katie Price got candid about reaching such “breaking point” after which she thought suicide was the only way out.
The model made a confession and admitted that "didn't want to be here anymore" after the breakdown of her third marriage.
Price, a mother to five children, revealed that she tried to take her life after "a long breakdown".
According to The Sun, Price shared that she was in a bad place after she divorced her third husband, Kieran Hayler, in 2018, and to cope up with the heart break and suicidal thoughts, she relied heavily on alcohol and drugs.
The American media personality has shared about her trauma in the past too.
“People don’t realise what I’ve been through,” she told the Mail's You Magazine in an interview.
“I just didn’t want to be here any more. I thought, 'What’s the point? No one’s here, no one’s helping, no one understands what I am feeling.”
She added, “I woke up from it thinking, 'What the f***? I can’t do this to my kids.' I was at breaking point.”
Despite her drug habits, she refused to be called a “c*ckh*ad” and only did everything to “block everything out”.
She continued. “I think there’s this persona of me that I’m a drinker and a cokehead, but I never have been, ever. Yeah, when I was younger, I would go out and get p***ed. Who wouldn’t?”
