Meghan Markle hit back at the people criticising Prince Harry for being an undeserving recipient of the Pat Tillman Award for Service with a 'beaming smile.'
For the unversed, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex made a head-turning appearance at the 2024 ESPY Awards which took place at at Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on July 11.
The former working royal received a notable accolade in the presence of his beloved wife and delivered a powerful acceptance speech.
Now, speaking of the Suits star gestures, body language expert Judi James claimed that Meghan stood confidently with Harry as his big support system.
In conversation with The Mirror, she said, "Her beaming smile from their seats looks like a response to the criticism that swirled around Harry’s award and the gleaming eye expression plus the way she places one possessive hand on his thigh as she smiles into camera suggests a maternal-style signal of pride, support and unconditional endorsement."
The expert also revealed that the mother-of-two can be seen proving her "ownership" over Harry while posing with him and Serena Williams on the red carpet of the award show.
"Meghan’s pose on the red carpet with her husband and her friend Serena does make it look as though she’s either got his back or acting as back-up as he turns his torso partly towards Serena, placing an arm around her waist, while Meghan poses behind him using gestures of ownership and loving support," Judi stated.
