This fall, Apple is set to unveil its much anticipated iPhone 16 series, which is believed to be a game changer for its entire iPhone line, Forbes reported.
Before the launch of its new phones, Apple will unveil the software that will run on its phones.
As per iPhone analyst Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, the new iPhone screen is set to be customisable.
Gurman says: "The iPhone home screen will be completely different. It will “let users change the colour of app icons and put them wherever they want. For instance, you can make all your social icons blue or finance-related ones green, and they won’t need to be placed in the standard grid that has existed since day one in 2007."
Gurman says every iPhone will appear drastically different from how it currently does, as people will have the ability to customise their phones however they want.
According to reports, the June 10 unveiling event will focus heavily on AI. Gurman says AI-generated emojis may be introduced.
He said: "One standout feature will bring generative AI to emojis. The company is developing software that can create custom emojis on the fly, based on what users are texting. That means you’ll suddenly have an all-new emoji for any occasion, beyond the catalogue of options that Apple currently offers on the iPhone and other devices."
