Sarah Ferguson appeared to send an important message to Prince Harry as the royal family continues to consumed by health crisis.
In a conversation with People on the red carpet at the 2024 amfAR Gala during the Cannes Film Festival, the Duchess of York stressed the significance of family unity during hard time.
When asked about her support for King Charles and Kate Middleton in the wake of their respective cancer battles, she said: "I think family unity is key… I think the key to life is that we all support each other.”
"And also forgiveness is a great thing. I think forgiveness of yourself, and forgiveness of others," the 64-year-old television personality added.
Royal family has been embattled in several health crisis at once; the Princess of Wales has been out of the public eye since the beginning of this year due to abdominal surgery and later diagnosis with an undisclosed form of cancer.
Meanwhile, King Charles underwent corrective procedure for enlarged prostrate in January, which led to a diagnosis of cancer in another organ.
As for Prince Harry, the duke boarded an emergency flight to the UK a day after Buckingham Palace officially announced the monarch’s cancer.
