Tori Spelling revealed that her kids planned an "anti-Mother's Day" for her first Mother’s Day since going through divorce from their father, Dean McDermott.
According to People Magazine, in Friday, May 17, episode of her podcast misSPELLING, the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum detailed her Mother’s Day surprise planned by her children: Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and seven-years-old Beau.
"Typically, I would plan something, like, for years," Spelling said. "But every year, I felt the pressure like, 'Oh, it's Mother's Day. We're supposed to go to a brunch, and I would find some, like, great place and do that.'"
The actress noted that she had always been on edge during the occasion. However, this year, her eldest daughter "takes so much pressure" off her shoulder as she told Spelling, "I don't want you to plan it. I know what you want. Let me handle it."
During the podcast, Spelling revealed Stella took the family to her mother's favourite place, making her "a happy, happy, happy mama."
Later, amid the car ride to a surprise venue, Stella said, "We did the anti-Mother's Day. Like, it wasn't, like, prim and proper and brunch and, like, all that."
Spelling then revealed the "really major surprise" as the family arrived at one of her favourite tattoos and piercing places.
She ended up getting a dermal piercing by the owner himself, officially capping off their family's "un-Mother's Day" celebration!
Additionally, Spelling shares her five kids with estranged husband, from whom she filed for divorce in March after they announced their separation in June 2023.
