Apple is reportedly working on introducing a new line of foldable devices in a bid to revolutionise the way we interact with technology, 9to5Mac reported.
According to a report by Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu, Apple has "accelerated" its mass production of the reported 20.3-inch "foldable device," whose production will begin in 2025, followed by the production of a foldable iPhone in late 2026.
Apple is also reportedly exploring two screen size options for the new foldable iPhone.
This isn’t the first time rumours about Apple's foray into foldable devices have surfaced.
Previously, market analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, had reported that Apple was allegedly working on a 20.3-inch foldable MacBook which may be released in 2027.
Bloomberg's, Mark Gurman, also said that Apple is "exploring a dual-screen, foldable MacBook/iPad hybrid".
As per the report published in 9to5Mac, Apple’s foldable will represent a "new line-up for Apple" targeting the "ultra- high-end market." By doing this Apple aims to redefine innovation and luxury in the tech industry.
In addition to these changes, Apple is set to release its iPhone 16 models sometime soon.
It is also organizing a dedicated iPad event for the first time, which is known as "Let Loose" and will be held on May 7.
