Zayn Malik mesmerised the listeners by unveiling magical vocals from his newly released single, Alienated.
In a recent episode of Rolling Stone’s The Breakdown, the former One Direction heartthrob was asked to share his favourite part of the latest song.
"I guess... I really like the pretty part, the false out of it. And I like the hope, too," explained the Dusk till Dawn chart-topping sensation before treating listeners to an acoustic version of Alienated.
The audio snippet showcased a flawless blend of high and low notes as Malik crooned the following lyrics:
"Can you let me be / Intoxicated on my own? / Do I need to answer? / Or right my wrongs? Am I home if I don't know this place? / And I've been feeling alienated / On my spaceship alone."
Under the comment section of the TikTok video, Zquad, Malik's fandom, showered praise on his surreal vocals.
One fan exclaimed, "Everything about this song is magical. My Favourite [heart emoji]."
Another fan gushed, "The vocals omgggg."
"This song is so good, and the live version is even better," echoed a third user.
Additionally, Alienated marks the second song released after What I Am ahead of the album Room Under the Stairs.
Malik’s highly anticipated fourth studio album is set to hit the streams on May 17.
