Blind Bulgarian mystic Baba Vanga predicted disaster-stricken 2024
From economic crises to extreme climate change, Baba Vanga's predictions may be coming true already
Vangeliya Pandeva Gushterova, famously known as Baba Vanga, was a blind Bulgarian mystic who made several predictions in her lifetime, many of which have come true.
She passed away over two decades ago but she predicted the deadly 9/11 incident, the Chernobyl disaster and Princess Diana's death, surprising the world with her chilling predictions.
So what did Baba Vanga predict for 2024? Well, mostly severe events and natural disasters and we know that's true.
Severe climate
Baba Vanga predicted that the world might experience some severe weather events and natural disasters in 2024.
According to a study published in Science Advances, global heat waves that are now occurring 67% more frequently, are also expected to have a significant impact on climate conditions.
The World Meteorological Organisation has stated a "high probability" in 2024 for a record-high year. Newsweek reported citing The Sun that the mystic has also forecast an orbital change that could result in devastating natural disasters.
Cyber attacks
Although the internet was still in it early age at the time of her death, Baba Vanga predicted rising cyberattacks in 2024.
She predicted major events, targeting critical infrastructure like power grids and water treatment plans and causing potential security risks on a global scale.
Economic Crises
She predicted that the year 2024 will see a escalated geopolitical tensions and levels of debt as a result of a shift in global economics.
In light of this prediction, leading global powers like the US continue to grapple with inflation, Japan is witnessing economic contractions, and the UK is struggling with factors like high interest rates and low productivity.
Additionally, China is facing economic hurdles.
Cure for diseases
According to The Sun, Baba Vanga also predicted that the world might find cures for severe health conditions like Alzheimer's and cancer.
This comes as Russian President Vladimir Putin recently stated that the ongoing research on cancer in Russia has reached a significant milestone in the development of cancer vaccines and next-generation immunomodulatory drugs.
Biological weapon tests or attacks
The mystic has also made a prediction about the possibility of biological weapon tests or attacks this year, hinting toward increased terrorist activities.
