Anya Taylor-Joy debuts shocking new look for 'Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga'

Anya Taylor-Joy said good-bye to her long golden locks as she embarked on a journey to vengeance in the newly released trailer for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga.

Released a month before the film's premiere on May 23, the second trailer showcases The Queen’s Gambit star's dramatic transformation, as her character chopped of her tresses to sport a buzz cut.

In the action-packed preview, director George Miller's terrifying vision of the desert comes alive once again as Furiosa (played by Taylor-Joy) shuffles through a relentless quest for revenge.

Joining Taylor-Joy, 27, in this adrenaline-fueled adventure are co-stars Chris Hemsworth, Alyla Browne, and Tom Burke, alongside a formidable array of monstrous motorbikes and thrilling action sequences filled with explosions.

The synopsis for Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga, penned by Miller and Nico Lathouris, teases a gripping narrative as the young Furiosa is torn from the Green Place of Many Mothers and falls into the clutches of the Biker Horde led by the Warlord Dementus.

Navigating through the Wasteland, they encounter the Citadel ruled by The Immortan Joe. In a battle for supremacy between these two tyrants, Furiosa must endure numerous trials as she meticulously plans her way back home.
