Nicki Minaj forced to cancel New Orleans concert last minute on doctor's orders

Nicki Minaj has been compelled to reschedule a performance on her Pink Friday 2 World Tour due to health concerns. 

The announcement came through New Orleans' Smoothie King Center via Instagram on Monday, March 18, citing doctor's orders as the reason for the decision. 

The statement emphasized Minaj's ongoing illness, expressing concerns about the potential risk of spreading illness to others and the artist's inability to deliver the expected performance. 

Efforts are underway to secure a new date for the concert, and ticket holders are advised to retain their tickets until further notice.

Leading up to her scheduled performance, Nicki hinted at her deteriorating health condition. 

In the days preceding the event, the artist disclosed experiencing symptoms suggestive of COVID-19. 

Via X on March 16, Minaj reached out to her fans, referred to as Barbz, seeking healing energy.

Despite this, she acknowledged feeling unwell and anticipated potential changes in her voice during her upcoming appearance on Station Head, a social audio platform.
