Kung Fu Panda 4 defeats Dune: Part 2, claims victory for second week
Arthur the King races to third place at box office with $7.5 million debut
Kung Fu Panda 4 maintained its reign atop the box office for a consecutive week, narrowly surpassing its contender, Dune: Part Two.
Led by the voices of Jack Black, Awkwafina, and Viola Davis, the beloved adventure flick retained its leading position, amassing $30 million in ticket sales, albeit experiencing a notable 50 percent decrease in revenue compared to the previous week.
Meanwhile, Dune featuring Timothée Chalamet, Josh Brolin, Zendaya, and Rebecca Ferguson, trailed closely behind with earnings of $29.1 million.
Arthur the King secured the third position, featuring Mark Wahlberg as an adventure racer who forms an unexpected bond with a stray dog during his journey.
Simu Liu portrays his teammate, skeptical of the canine's suitability for their perilous trek.
Inspired by true events, the film got an impressive $7.5 million in ticket sales, resonating well with audiences.
Following closely in fourth place is Imaginary, while Cabrini rounds off the top five, an Angel Studios production headlined by Cristiana Dell'Anna and John Lithgow.
