Ryan Reynolds has recently confessed Blake Lively was the one who introduced him to an important member of the Deadpool & Wolverine crew.
Sharing details via Instagram Story on March 16, Reynolds wrote, “My wife directed a music video and fell in love with her editor @sreid2.”
“She insisted I work with him immediately and forever,” said the 41-year-old.
Reynolds, who married Lively in 2012 and shares four children with her, thanked his wife on social media, stating, “She was right.”
“He became the irreplaceable 2nd half of our Deadpool editing room. I’ve spent 10 months with this genius and I’m never letting go. Ever,” added the Green Lantern actor.
Video editor Shane Reid reposted a photo to his IG Story and replied, “Don’t just meet your heroes… work with them. @blakelively and Ryan are the most generous and fierce creative partners. I’m really lucky every day to work alongside you both.”
For the unversed, Reid and Lively first worked together on Taylor Swift’s music video, I Bet You Thinks About Me, which dropped in November 2022.
In 2021, Reid and Lively, 36, first worked together on a music video for Taylor Swift.
Interestingly, the video featured Swift, who is Lively’s longtime bestie, crashing the wedding of her ex, played by Miles Teller.
After this music project, Reid joined Reynolds’s Deadpool crew.
Meanwhile, the upcoming Deadpool & Wolverine will release in theatres on July 26.
