John Mulaney’s ex-wife spills the tea about releasing new tell-all memoir

John Mulaney’s ex-wife Anna Marie Tendler has recently spilled the tea about her upcoming tell-memoir, Men Have Called Her Crazy on social media.

On Tuesday, Anna took to Instagram and posted a photo of herself with her new book, announcing its release in August.

In the caption, she wrote, “I have been writing this book for two years.”

Tendler continued, “More accurately though I have been writing it for close to four decades. I have never been more proud of any work.”

“It is a story about mental health; about being a woman; about family,” she explained.

Tendler added, “And finally, about the endless source of my heartbreak and rage — men.”

Mulaney reportedly filed for divorce from Tendler after six years of marriage in July 2021.

At the time, the former couple issued separate statements about their split, with Tendler spoke to PEOPLE that she was “heartbroken that John has decided to end our marriage”.

Two days after their divorce, Mulaney sparked romance rumours with actress Olivia Munn and four months later, he revealed about expecting first child with Munn.

Speaking to Harper’s Bazaar in 2022, Tendler mentioned, “Everything that has transpired has been totally shocking and I think surreal.”

She told the outlet, “In a way, I feel like, well, it can only go up from here, because I reached the depth of where I could go.”

In June 2023, Tendler opened up about being hospitalized for depression, self-harm, and severe suicidal ideation in the first two weeks of 2021 in her Elle essay.

Meanwhile, Men Have Called Her Crazy will publish on August 13.
