Miley Cyrus ‘devastated’ over how her family is ‘torn apart’
Miley Cyrus reportedly didn't want to be part of the family drama but was 'forced' into it
Miley Cyrus may be heartbroken by the family drama but she was fully aware of Noah Cyrus’ relationship with Dominic Purcell before mom Tish pursued him.
According to sources cited by Us Weekly, the Flowers hitmaker “absolutely knew” Noah, 24, was dating Purcell, 54, when their mother, Tish, 56, started pursuing the actor.
Previous reports suggest that Miley was not aware of the situation and had to confront her mom after the family drama made headlines last month.
One source told the outlet that Noah was still seeing Dominic when he started dating Tish. And despite knowing the truth, Miley “took her mom’s side” and did “everything in her power” to keep Noah from crashing Tish and Purcell’s August 2023 wedding.
Another source revealed that Miley tried to stay out of the drama but couldn’t help it since she has a strong bond with her mother.
“Miley believes [the family rift is] beyond repair at this time,” the insider explained. “Miley’s devastated her family’s been torn apart.”
The Cyrus family drama surfaced in the headlines around summer 2023 when Noah and brother Braison were noticeably absent from Tish’s Malibu wedding in August 2023.
At the time, speculations suggested that the absence had something to do with the siblings siding with their father, Billy Ray Cyrus, in the drama. However, it turned out that the rift was much deeper than it appeared.
