Garrison Brown of 'Sister's Wives' passed away at 25
The actors parents confirmed the news
The deceased Garrison Brown was the main character of the long-running TLC reality series Sister Wives, with a huge family. He was twenty-five.
On Tuesday, his father, Kody Brown, and mother, Janelle Brown, confirmed the news with similar posts on social media.
“Kody and I are deeply saddened to announce the loss of our beautiful boy Robert Garrison Brown. He was a bright spot in the lives of all who knew him,” Janelle Brown wrote. “His loss will leave such a big hole in our lives that it takes our breath away. We ask that you please respect our privacy and join us in honouring his memory.”
Garrison Brown, who went by his middle name on the show, passed away, according to a statement from TLC describing it as a "tragic loss."
“We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the Brown family at this difficult time,” the statement read.
According to a statement sent to CNN by Sgt. J.L. Rintala, a public information officer for the Flagstaff, Arizona, Police Department, Garrison Brown appeared to have committed suicide and was discovered dead at home.
Rintala said there is no suspicion of foul play.
After eighteen seasons of television, Sister Wives most recently concluded a season that examined the different family rifts that caused polygamist Kody Brown to split from three of his four wives.
