Princess Kate, who's making headlines for her 'first appearance' since surgery, has left fans divided with her photographs alongside her mother Carole Middleton.

The photographs have not been authorised by Kensington Palace or any other royal family's social media accounts as they are still respecting the Princess of Wales’s wish for privacy.

A palace spokesman, in the most recent statement, reiterated that the Princess was "doing well".

"Kensington Palace will, therefore, only provide updates on Her Royal Highness’ progress when there is significant new information to share."

If the photographs are confirmed by any member of the royal family it would be very delightful for the fans who have always raised their concerns regarding the Princess of Wales's health since her mystery abdominal surgery.

It is being claimed Kate's first public appearance of 2024 as she has been out of sight since her Christmas Day outing in Sandringham last year.

However some social media users are still unconvinced by the photographs, with one saying: “I may be wrong, but that doesn't look like her to me, it looks like her sister Pippa."

One fan appeared explaining the Catherine's facial structure to confirm she's Kate, saying: "Pippa has a different nose and did not fare as well in the looks department as Kate."

"Pippa's chin as a bit more pointed and her cheek bones a bit lower. To me this looks just like Catherine."

In the photo, the Princess is said to be sitting in the passenger seat beside her mother in a car being driven by Carole Middleton near Windsor Castle.

However, royal fans are still waiting for the reaction from the palace about the authenticity of the photographs and update on Kate's health.

Princess Kate is expected to undertake an engagement in June as the ministry of defence has released details for the Trooping The Colour event which will take place on Saturday, June 8 2024.

On January 17, Kensington Palace announced that Kate had been admitted to the London Clinic the previous day for 'planned abdominal surgery'. She almost spent two weeks at the London Clinic before returning to Adelaide Cottage in Windsor to be reunited with Prince William and their kids.
