Actor and comedian Jamie Foxx is returning to the hit game show Beat Shazam after a one-season hiatus.
Foxx, alongside his daughter Corinne Foxx who serves as co-host and DJ, will be back at the helm for season seven, premiering on Tuesday, May 28th on Fox. This marks Foxx's triumphant return after having to step away from season six due to a health scare in 2023.
Fans of the show will be thrilled to see the popular father-daughter duo grace their screens once again. Foxx is not just the host, but also an executive producer, showcasing his continued dedication to the program.
"Jamie and Corinne are the heart and soul of Beat Shazam," said Allison Wallach, President of Unscripted Entertainment at FOX Entertainment, in a press release. "Their undeniable dynamic brings a relationship like no other to the show."
Foxx's return has been highly anticipated by viewers who enjoy his infectious energy and his musical expertise. Season seven promises to deliver more exciting challenges and toe-tapping fun as contestants race against the clock and music identification app, Shazam.
