Kate Middleton’s uncle ‘warned’ against spilling royal secrets in TV debut
Kate Middleton’s family is 'worried' Gary Goldsmith will cause royal 'stress she doesn't need' amid recovery
Kate Middleton’s ‘mischievous’ uncle Gary Goldsmith has his family on their toes as he is preparing to enter the Celebrity Big Brother house on Monday.
The Princess of Wales is currently recuperating from her abdominal surgery in Adelaide Cottage and the family is concerned that her uncle’s TV appearance may cause her unnecessary stress.
Kate’s “furious” mother has reportedly given her brother a scolding and warned him against divulging family secrets on the show.
“Gary said he’s been read the riot act by Kate’s mum Carole and her dad Michael,” a source told The Sun. “They aren’t happy he’s going into Celebrity Big Brother. It is infuriating for them. Kate doesn’t need this stress.”
Gary, who is multi-millionaire due to his successful recruitment business, was spotted doing some last-minute shopping before his TV debut.
He was previously preparing to release a book in response to Prince Harry’s Spare in an effort to “fight back” against the claims made against Prince William and Kate.
Ever since her surgery, Kate has been hidden away from the public eye, with only the Kensington Palace providing updates on her health.
It is unclear if Gary would be revealing some insight on her health on the show or fully avoid the topic of the royals.
